The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has chosen Bellevue University as one of an elite number of schools to participate in the department’s Palace Acquire Intern Program. The DoD chose 12 schools nationwide to participate.
Bellevue University was chosen based on the strength of its undergraduate and graduate Security Management programs, which boast the largest combined enrollment of any security management programs in the country.
As part of the Palace Acquire Intern Program, college students work for three years inside the DoD, rotating among more than 20 different positions. Interns start at an annual salary of $40,000, with the ability to earn full-time employment at the end of the program. Bellevue University’s first round of eligible students will be interviewed this fall by a DoD selection committee.
In addition to the Security Management programs, Bellevue University offers three other career-relevant public safety bachelor’s degree completion programs (Corrections Administration and Management, Criminal Justice Administration, and Investigations) and two additional master’s degree programs (Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security Management, and a new Master of Public Administration).
