Bellevue University saw record enrollment this fall.

Bellevue University saw a record enrollment of 8,278 students this fall.

Bellevue University welcomed a record 8,278 students this fall, the school’s largest enrollment in history and a 6 percent increase from 2007. It also represents a 182 percent enrollment increase since 1998, when enrollment stood at 2,929.

Since 2003, the university’s enrollment has increased 71 percent.

The university saw an increase in both undergraduate and graduate enrollment. Of the total enrollment, 5,790 are undergraduate students (up from 5,674) and 2,488 are graduate students (up from 2,118).

University administrators attributed the increase to numerous factors, including: continued growth in online programs; adult learners’ interest in the school’s accelerated bachelor’s degree completion programs that can now be completed in 12 months; and the continuous development of new degree programs that meet the needs of our students and corporate partners. The university added or developed 18 new undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate degree programs during the past year.
