Bellevue University on Thursday, Oct. 30 will host its second annual Career Information Day. More than 30 area employers will be on hand to discuss their organizations and potential career opportunities, as well as accept resumes on-site for current openings. Participating organizations include Cox Communications, Alegent Health, Gallup and ConAgra.
This free event – primarily for students and alumni but open to the public – is 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., inside the Margre H. Durham Student Center, 1000 Galvin Road South, Bellevue.
Career Information Day comes at an ideal time for many in the area, as recent figures show unemployment in Nebraska steadily rising during the past year and the national economy spiraling toward recession.
