The Bellevue University Corporate Writing Center has partnered with University of Nebraska Medical Center to offer a workshop aimed at improving researchers’ manuscript and grant-writing skills.

Les Bruning, a Bellevue University art professor, has been chosen to paint a mural in midtown Omaha’s Dewey Park, a public art project that is part of an overall renewal effort in the neighborhood.

Bellevue University Provost Mary Hawkins has been named Bellevue’s “Woman of the Year” for 2008. The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce presented Hawkins with the award during its annual Women in Leadership Wine & Cheese Reception, held Tuesday at the university’s student center.
