Lincoln Northeast High School on Friday won the 18th annual Bellevue University Invitational Quiz Bowl. The Rockets took the title by beating Bellevue West twice in the championship round of this double-elimination competition.

Nearly 600 people will participate in Bellevue University’s winter commencement this Saturday, Jan. 31. The ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Of those participating, 211 are earning their master’s degrees; 363 are earning their bachelor’s degrees.
